Astha Nagpal

Founder , Clinical Psychologist ( RCI Regd. )
Understanding human psyche & emotions through the work of art; psychology as a source of knowledge, and colors as a medium, I have dedicated more than a decade in being a psychotherapist. The journey of Daffodils so far has been fulfilling and brings much motivation to me to provide a platform to the young practitioners and subject driven students through the means of consultant work, internships, training and workshops. Prior to my own establishment, I have worked in schools and colleges as a Psychologist offering counseling to the students & conducting seminars with teachers and parents. Daffodils is a dream venture, my first born, an organisation that works towards the mental well being of the population of all age groups through individual long term psychodynamic psychotherapy work , mindfulness therapy, short term goal oriented therapy work and other modalities.
We work in close association with universities and corporates and offer internships, trainings and workshops curated to the needs of the organization. We are extremely humbled to have a committed team of mental health professionals working with us. We are passionate and inclined towards creating a safe space to build a community that works on a multi disciplinary model.
I find my inspiration and learning in what I create, what I do and what I receive and absorb from the outside. Food and art are my cathartic resources offering me my space of wisdom and content. I strongly recommend continuous engagement with the work through reading, attending sessions, participating in the subject related interactions, and being in therapy yourself that serves as a reference and reflection much needed to understand the work of mind and emotions.

Aprajita Rana

Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychologist
I am an RCI licensed child and adolescent psychologist dedicated to the field of child mental health with an aim of providing quality help to children, adolescents and their families.
Currently associated as a counselor in a reputed school, I have prior experience of working with children from different backgrounds and needs. This includes children in need of care and protection, children with neurodevelopmental disorders as well as children requiring socio-emotional support.
When I work with children and adolescents I attempt to understand and empower them by the means of psychometric assessments, one-on-one interactions, developing personalized interventions, and using an eclectic approach where the counseling are informed by a number of therapeutic techniques like CBT, play therapy, and person centered therapy. I believe in curating interventions which see the child as a part of his or her environment. Thus, when I work with children I also attempt to provide interventions for the environment they are in, such as home or school as well as work one-on-one with parents so that they become a part of the therapy process and feel equipped to handle the concerns that are arising.

Sanchita Johri

Consultant Counseling Psychologist
Sanchita Johri has a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Faculty of Arts, South Campus University of Delhi (2016). She has 7 years of work experience in various fields of mental health as a Counseling Psychologist and a Psychotherapist. She is a certified mental health first aider on suicide prevention and grief & bereavement. She is currently in-training to be a group analyst from Institute of Group Analysis, Hank Nunn Institute Bangalore.
She works with psychodynamic and relational schools of psychotherapy that emphasize on
dialogue between a client and the therapist. Her goal is to collaboratively work with the client towards greater understanding of their personal goals and values. She focusses on the emotional distress one experiences in a socio-political-cultural landscape, experiences of the past and how it plays out for them in the present day-to-day functioning of one’s mind, body, and in the interactions with the world around in a humanistic approach than through a diagnostic lens.
Her in-depth orientation may go as per client’s pace as she focuses on growing through-going through grief. She thus sees therapy as a journey of seasons, where the client experiences different stages of grief and growth, much like the changing seasons of nature. Just as spring represents new beginnings and growth, summer symbolizes warmth and abundance, autumn signifies letting go and shedding old patterns, and winter represents introspection and reflection, therapy takes the client through similar cycles of emotions, insights, and transformations.
Sanchita believes in continuous learning and constantly looking to update and deepen her skill set and therapeutic repertoire.

Jasprit Kaur

Counselling Psychologist
I am a counseling psychologist with experience of working with adolescents (ages 13-18) and young adults (ages 18-35). With a deep understanding of the complexities of the human mind, I aim to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore past experiences, emotions, and patterns of behavior.
My primary goal is to facilitate growth and progress in my clients’ lives according to their own definitions of growth. I hold firm belief in the clients’ capacity to make autonomous decisions and chart their own paths, positioning myself as a supportive figure along their journey.
Drawing from a psychodynamic foundation infused with elements of CBT and trauma-informed principles I address a range of issues including attachment, interpersonal dynamics, trauma recovery, self-esteem, emotional regulation, anxiety, self-harm, and academic or occupational stress. Central to my therapeutic approach is the cultivation of a strong therapeutic relationship, which I consider vital for fostering growth and progress.
I am engaged in facilitating socio-emotional learning for adolescents, educators, and caregivers. Additionally, I also provide training to emerging therapists in trauma-informed practices.
